Associates will have the opportunity to work directly with core members of the team and work on a variety of economic and valuation-related engagements in the contexts of litigation and business consulting. Associate work is important because it is the foundation of testimony and analysis that is scrutinized by adversaries and courts, and ultimately used to make real-world decisions with meaningful impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform research on various companies, industries, products, and market trends.
• Review and evaluate industry reports, company financials (e.g., balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flow), and economic and financial models.
• Demonstrate and model effective research, analysis, and report drafting.
• Develop complex economic and financial models including detailed discounted cash flow, net present value, product sales analysis, and other relevant analyses.
• Communicate work product to management (verbally and in writing).
• Contribute to the development of presentations, demonstratives, expert economic and financial reports, and other client deliverables.
• Effective coordination with senior consultants and economists to improve work product.
• Communicate directly with clients on certain aspects of projects.
• Provide guidance and assistance to junior consultants as they learn and grow.

QUALIFICATIONS

The Associate position is for an experienced consultant with outstanding analytical skills and a desire to grow professionally within the economic consulting field. We are especially interested in individuals who can work efficiently with colleagues from remote locations – and therefore have strong communication skills and the ability and desire to utilize technology to create an efficient working environment.

Other requirements include:
• Approximately two years of experience as a consultant or analyst in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Political Science, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to learn SharePoint online.
• Ability to work with large data sets.
• Capable of working under tight deadlines.
