Drew Johnson graduated cum laude from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics and Chemistry. He also earned a Master of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce where he specialized in biotechnology.
Prior to joining Insight Economics, Mr. Johnson worked as an analyst for a growing biotechnology firm where he constructed robust financial models to plan sustainable growth of the organization. He also consulted on the economic and technological viability of a quality control process used by a small brewery to ensure safety in reusing yeast for multiple batches of beverage.
In his free time, Mr. Johnson enjoys playing ice hockey, disc golf, and learning about aviation.
