Frankie Sheehy is an Analyst based in Insight’s North Carolina office. He has consulted on projects in intellectual property and labor economics, across industries such as pharmaceuticals, robotics, healthcare, and technology.

The following are examples of projects that Mr. Sheehy has worked on:

  • Analysis of the effects of noncompete agreements on future employment opportunities and the labor market;
  • Analysis of the effect of trade secret misappropriation on a firm’s future earnings and its relationship with investors;
  • Analysis of the effect of a lawsuit on a firm’s abnormal stock returns;
  • Lost profits and reasonable royalty analysis for the infringement of a follow-on patent for a new drug.

Mr. Sheehy graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics and Law, History, and Society and a minor in Political Science. While at Vanderbilt, he served as Deputy Sports Editor for The Vanderbilt Hustler, writing over 100 articles about Vanderbilt Athletics and covering a variety of live events. Mr. Sheehy also works as a high school and college baseball umpire.

Outside of work, Frankie Sheehy enjoys chess, exercise, and listening to rock music.
